Waken   I had been feeling restless for some time,  But today, I awoke in the afternoon  Feeling truly at peace for the first time.   A sense of calm enveloped me,  Along with focus and drive,  As a myriad of emotions surged  within Like a soldier readying for his battle ride. The burden had lifted,  In its place, victory stood firmly!    Next to the kin that surrounded me.   I wondered who is this entity,  That has taken shape, shining,  His Head Held High In perfected pridefulness  As if tailored for a purpose?  Though I felt grounded,  My victorious battle was the pinnacles.  Pearls of Wisdom on this journey!  Direction seemed to emerge,  Greeting me with a handshake.  This profound state,  Altered consciousness.  I questioned, am I home? People rely on friends, to get by with everyday life struggles. And each and every one of us, have come across one from every category in life as well. Admit it or not, it is about the truest statement out there.  Friends are dear and precious to us, I know mine is and I do tell them so. Friend's Friendship is the kind of love, that never can grow old. Warm and cozy it will stay when other things are cold. Friendships are, a love so true, it cannot be denied. Because a friend will always be there, close to your side.  Lovers come and go, in this game of life, we play. But a true friend, no matter what, in your heart will always stay. So hold these friends dear to you, and never let them go.
