A Letter To My Lord

Image
Follow my blog with Bloglovin A Letter To My Lord A Letter To My Lord : Part 1 Lord God; The walk on the earth with man becomes more corrupt with mortal sin. My walk beside the man on the earth that thou hast established becomes troublesome upon my spirit and I grow weak. ~ My plight to thee oh Lord of Lords ; I pray my Father God above, forgive them in their hearts for their mortal sins. Their journey here grows strong in the evil that walks among them. Man has taken upon seat and counsel, with the fallen one, Lucifer. Forgive them, Father, for they do not know what they have done. ~ I sit here and make my peace to thee, Almighty God; If there be any sin that I must pay for, I'm ready my Lord. I pray my Lord Christ, that I've repented my sins and repent for all those that I've missed, here now in my letter for eyes.~ Never have I not believed, or acknowledge; Thy name of the Lord Christ Jesus, or thy name of our high creator, God Almighty our Father, their Ho...

Inspiration of Love

Image
This poem was written for my late wife, Shannon, may she rest in peace, and is dedicated. I love you more today, more than I did yesterday. And I’ll love you even more tomorrow. Until we meet again... Inspiration of Love At the moment that I saw you, somehow my heart just knew. That I would have some kind of life, filled with loving you. In the moment that you touched me, as you pulled me to your side. Your arm slipped down around my shoulder, my heart no place to hide. In the moment that I touched you, I felt your heartbeat beneath my hand. The look I saw there in your eyes, spoke a language I could understand. The moment that you held me, is somehow frozen in time. A place of sweet contentment, engraved is this heart of mine. At that moment when I felt your heart, gently dancing with my soul. | Copyright © | William Darnell Sr. | | Year Posted 2013, 2020 |                       ...

Come Rest With Me

Image
Come Rest With Me  My Parents, Bob and Thelma R.I.P. God saw you getting weary,  He did what He thought best.   He put His loving arms around you and said;  Come with Me and rest.  He opened up His Golden Gates,  On that heartbreaking day.  And with His arms around you,  You gently slipped away.  It broke our hearts to lose you,  You did not go alone.  A part of us went with you,  The day God called you home.  And with this poem, I write,  I bid you, goodbye.  Rest In Peace, my loving parents,  I'll see you on the other side. |Copyright© William Darnell  Sr  |  | Year Posted 2021 | Source  -   PoetrySoup
