Every Moment

Every Moment

We are not here to live,

With the small life of our ego

But we are here to fulfill

The purpose of our souls.

Yes, I'm a diminutive injured,

Narrowly shattered even

And perpetually scarred

But I'm still here, aren't I?

I am still fighting the good fight,

God is still waking me up every day

To go through it all over again

Being renewed with a clean slate.

This life, at times, is hard as hell.

But life is still a gift, a journey

Because I am going to live,

Every moment of it.

  1. Every Moment seems to be the pathway to a fulfilling life. Good and bad, right or wrong. We learn from our failures and get up and brush ourselves off. We find a way to fix the failed mistakes. And move forward. It's a journey, something to grasp a hold of and see where it takes us.
